An English Law Firm specialising in shipping is looking for a lawyer to join its Shanghai team. The succesful candidate will have both a Chinese and an English (or Hong Kong) law degree. They will have some experience of both contentious and non-contentious litigation. Some knowledge of marine arbitration would also be of use. This post might also suit someone with legal background from Hong Kong or Singapore, or a suitably qualified non Chinese national. Ability to draft legal opinion and formal contracts in English will be key. This is an opportunity to join a growing law firm, working in the rapidly expanding shipping sector, where China is becoming a world leader. |
