Summary
A major foreign IT developer, based in Shanghai, is looking for a Regulatory Expert with knowledge of SAFE (State Administration of Exchange Control) procedures, and possibly also of CBRC and PBOC regulation. The candidate will have at least 8 years of banking experience, and a degree in finance, with suitable professional qualifications (CFA or CICPA).

Description
The succesful candidate will have "regulatory" knowledge of the SAFE forms. They will then to be involved in an analytical and/or development way, to build a China product using rules-based ETL data modelling tool and software suite.

This job will need expert understanding of the SAFE forms and experience of working with the regulators. CBRC and PBOC regulation experiences also a major plus. Also some client-facing work with a prestigious client.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / Post Graduate Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Finance/Accountancy/Banking
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CICPA desirable
  • At least 8 years of banking experience.
  • Expert knowledge on banking activities and banking products (Loans, Deposits, FX, Equities,Commodities, Derivatives, GL entries, with specific focus on financial control and regulatory reporting).
