Summary
A major UK IT company in Shanghai is looking for a Quality Control Manager with ability to build quality plans, test strategy, handle regression test capabilities, with automated test harnesses. This position will appeal to a candidate with the ability to drive Quality Control, by building up regression test packs with an existing team. Knowledge of Collateral Management in bank trading departments is a necessity.
Description
The Manager will assist in developing a web-based financial collateral management software solution. This system manages the margin call and reconciliation process of trading department's (e.g. of banks). It is a pure internet application that runs securely within a web browser without requiring desktop software, as a financial credit risk reduction strategy. Candidates should therefore have some exposure to: OTC Derivatives, Repo, Energy and Securities Lending; reconciliation and dispute management for derivatives positions, mark-to-market values, payments amount and margin amounts and margin calculations with counterparties. This post will ideally suit a local Chinese with experience in a multinational and/or a degree in computer studies from a foreign university. Non-Chinese applicants should have good Mandarin skills.
